Panama with Central Church of the Nazarene

Trip dates July 18 thru July 28

Cost approx $1300 - $1400

Project: Build a large meeting room / classroom area to be utilized for the already-functioning school as well as for church events, Sunday school, etc.

The La Pesa church has a heart for its community. They run a pre-school that is highly sought after in the community, but are only able to take a handful of students because of space restrictions.

This church also works through Compassionate Ministries in their child sponsorship program.

The church, which has about 40 adult members and is slowly but steadily growing every year, has been a light in an underserved rural area.

Accommodations: Staying at a campground near the work site. Dorm like setting, bunk beds, no hot water! This will be more of a rustic trip than some in the past. We will be doing our own cooking for breakfast and dinner in their fully stocked and functioning kitchen.
