Mission for the Third Millennium at Graceway

Wed, August 31, 2011

“Kansas 2011” is an International Congress – Encounter of missionary theology, organized by ““Misión para el Tercer Milenio” (MTM), with the purpose of analyzing, reflecting, encouraging and challenging the church for building up a two way missionary bridges for the fulfillment of God’s mission in all continents. MTM is not an event, it is a process. In this opportunity the general theme will be: “Fomenting a reciprocal missionary theology”.  This Congress – Encounter is addressed to theologians, missiologists, mission mobilisers, practitioners, pastors, mission leaders, missionaries, and people interested in fomenting a reciprocal missionary theology.

Missions for the Third Millennium is led by Samuel Cueva, a Peruvian pastor ministering in London. MTM is his vision that has resulted in missiological conferences in London, Berlin, Lima, Madrid, and now Kansas City.

The focus of MTM has been to bring together a small group of some of the leading missiologists and practitioners in the Spanish-speaking world and beyond. Some of the speakers will minister in English and be translated into Spanish. In most cases, those who speak in Spanish will be translated into English.

You are welcome to register for the complete conference, but the services each night are open to the public. Many of you are familiar with George Verwer, founder of Operation Mobilization, who will be speaking twice in the evening. What a great opportunity to hear him and be challenged!

Registration and information in Spanish is at www.visitgraceway.org/mtm.

English-only speakers can contact Emily Kinch at ekinch@kcbt.org.
