The Sending Project has 2 long-term missionaries: Eric Rochester (Executive Director) and Beth Plummer (Urban Kansas City, Missouri), and it has already sent one short-term mission team--Phil Matthews and Steve Sanks, to Russia in October of 2010. Now, TSP, in partnership with Christ Church Anglican, is sending its first intermediate-term missionary (in the range of 1-month to 1-year).
Meet Megan Spencer, an Occupational Therapist who is going to Guatemala to apply her missional heart and O.T. skills at New Life School. You can learn more about Megan's 10-month mission to Guatemala here:
Megan Spencer--Guatemala 2011
New Life School is helping a lot of special needs kids who aren't able to receive help from anyone else. What a powerful expression of serving those in poverty--sometimes physically, sometimes spiritually, and sometimes both.
Please keep Megan and New Life School in your prayers. We're believing that God is going to change a lot of lives during 2011 in Guatemala at New Life School. If you want to be on the list to receive updates from Megan, about her Guatemala mission, email her at: megan.spencer5@gmail.com
