The KC Nicaragua Project invites you to lunch and learn about sustainable solutions to break the cycle of poverty.
Join us for lunch at the Brio and discover how your church can expand its footprint throughout the world. Learn how the KC Nicaragua Project's mission partner, The Rainbow Network, makes a big difference in the lives of people of Nicaragua, and how it can be life-changing for your congregation as they experience the impact of serving the poor as Jesus commanded us to do. The anchor church for this project is Wood’s Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of The Sending Alliance.
The mission of The Rainbow Network is to share the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with Nicaragua’s poorest people in healthcare, education, economic development, and housing. Their vision as a faith-based charity is to provide hope through innovative, integrated, and sustainable solutions that enable the poor of Nicaragua to break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient, resulting in an improved quality of life. The Rainbow Network works in 144 rural communities, and they plan to be in 163 communities by the end of 2018.
