  • Spurring one another to endure and to overcome obstacles to missional prayer (e.g Luke 18: 1-8; Luke 11: 1-13)
  • Sharing and developing strategies in missional prayer (Daniel 10:10-14; Nehemiah 1:1-7; Nehemiah 4:19-20)
  • Communicating missional prayer needs in Kansas City and beyond (Philippians 1:19)
  • Celebrating testimonies about answers to missional prayer (Psalms 66:19; Acts 12:5-17; 2 Corinthians 1:9-11)

Featured Presenters

Ray Mabion is the Pastor of Bethlehem Christian Assembly.  He is a graduate of Avila University with a BA in Hospital Administration, and a Master of Divinity from Central Theological Seminary.

Ray planted Bethlehem Christian Assembly, an inner city church, in 1984 at 2732 Troost Ave, KCMO. In 1991 the church moved to its present location at 2732 Forest Ave, KCMO. Ray says, “Our vision is to be salt and light to our community and city, by being involved with the activities which will impact our community.” In 1998 they established Bethlehem Home Health Care, a ministry to the elderly and a not-for-profit medical company called Forest Home Care Ministry. To establish a presence in the marketplace they explored community development, and in 2003 established J Gordon Community Development Corp, a non-profit development company with a vision for community building.

Ray is married to Opal and they have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.

Dr. Howie Shute has an engineering background, working as a manufacturing executive for twelve years before God's calling to full-time ministry. Subsequent to his call to ministry and to his theological training, he served as a pastor for fourteen years, and a global missionary for fifteen years. He has been involved in several movements of God that have given rise to explosive church growth.

His broad but distinctly unique experience has made him a popular speaker throughout the world. His preaching and teaching are filled with stories of God working miraculously through ordinary people.

Dr. Shute has recently heard God calling him to leave the pastoral ministry and to give his life to intercessory prayer for his family, the Church, and the world.
