Forerunner Christian Fellowship

We are glad to announce that Forerunner Christian Fellowship has joined The Sending Alliance! This church, led by Executive Director John Chisholm, is located at 12444 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri, 64030.

The TSP Liaison for Forerunner Fellowship is Norman Przybylski (in photo), Executive Director of Elijah Company, Inc., a ministry which mentors and trains for missions. He and his wife served with Operation Mobilization from 1978-1995. They moved to Kansas City in 2010 to be part of the community of the International House of Prayer, and train and recruit for missions and prayer among the unengaged, unreached, and coastal areas of the Mediterranean Sea. They presently serve as prayer room staff, writers, equippers and are facilitating the establishment of houses of prayer in 11 Mediterranean coastal cities.

People from all walks of life are welcome at Forerunner Christian Fellowship (FCF). FCF aims to grow in passion for Jesus and compassion for people. Rooted in the love of God and His Word, FCF desires to love and obey Him, to have fellowship with each other, and to minister to others in the power of the Spirit.

Here's some info from Forerunner Fellowship about their missional ministries:

1. The International House of Prayer - The IHOPKC community exists to partner in the Great Commission by advancing 24/7 prayer and proclaiming the beauty of Jesus and His glorious return.

2. Equipping children and teens: At the heart of the Children's Equipping Center is our mandate to equip and release children to be wholehearted in their devotion to Jesus. Our programs for children ages 1–12 pass on the primary values of prayer and God's Word, teaching children to know, love, and obey God. Also, it is crucial that we create a way for teenagers in this spiritual family to live a New Testament lifestyle of prayer, purity, and pursuit of God. We want to see what can be produced in teens who are raised up in an environment of night-and-day prayer and continual pursuit of God that honors spiritual passion and extravagant love for Him.

3. Pastoral Support - Our leadership and ministry teams are committed to serving the pastoral needs of our community. We desire to help build strong individuals and families who are growing in passion for Jesus and compassion for people. We offer focused ministry in the areas of restoration and recovery, lay counseling, and marriage and family.

4. Evangelism - We are blessed to have many evangelists, those called to be witnesses for Jesus, in our midst. We are dedicated to nurturing, training, and sending men and women into the harvest fields of the world, from our own local neighborhoods to the ends of the earth.

5. Inner-City Ministry - Hope City is an inner-city ministry centered around the prayer room, where the homeless, the addicts, and the poor can find a place of hope in the Body of Christ. Part of that means helping them to see their role in the end-time harvest of God and to be part of the Church, calling out for Jesus’ return.
